Most Used Shortcuts

If you're not a born shortcutter, we get it. You can still work like a Notion power user if you use these commands!

Your goal should be to engrain these, and that takes practice. While you're looking through this, start testing them out. You can use cmd + P and search for this page whenever you realize you forgot something. It will take a while at first, but pretty soon it will become second nature!

General Shortcuts (Not Specific To Notion) (⭐️)

• Use cmd/ctrl + # to switch between tabs (ex: cmd+2 switches to tab 2)
• Use cmd/ctrl + A to select all (in Notion the first time you hit it will select all the text in a given block, and the second will select all text on the page)
• Use cmd/ctrl + K to add or edit a hyperlink.
• Use cmd/ctrl + F to search within a page
• Use cmd/ctrl + Z to undo
• Use cmd/ctrl + Y to redo (opposite or undo)
• With text selected, press cmd/ctrl + B to bold text.
• With text selected, press cmd/ctrl + I to italicize text.
• With text selected, press cmd/ctrl + U to underline text.
• Use cmd/ctrl + [ to go to back a page.
• Use cmd/ctrl + ] to go forward a page.
• Use option + backspace it delete the entire word
• Use cmd + enter to open a page in a new tab.
